The Giving Tent began in August 2025 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma as a simple idea with a big heart—one small greenhouse in my front yard filled with food, clothing, hygiene items, toys, and other essentials for anyone who needed support, no questions asked. What started as a single space built on kindness quickly grew because our community showed just how much generosity can multiply.

Today, The Giving Tent has expanded into two large greenhouse tents at the original location in West Broken Arrow, and a small greenhouse tent in a second location in North Broken Arrow

     

As the project has grown, so has our reach. I’ve partnered with other community members to help keep additional free pantries filled throughout the Tulsa area.

 

To continue expanding this work and to serve even more neighbors, I am actively fundraising to establish The Giving Tent as an official nonprofit organization. Becoming a nonprofit will allow us to open more locations, build stronger networks of support, and create sustainable systems of giving for years to come. You can donate to this Here.
