If you are seeing this page you fall into one of two categories.

1. You randomly found the hidden link on The Giving Tent home page.

2. I personally sent you a link to this page.

For anyone in the first group congratulations on finding this feel free to take a look around you earned  it. And hey, since your here if you have any ideas on things feel free to send me a message letting me know at thegivingtent@gmail.com I'm Tammy by the way.

Now everyone in the second group I sent you a link to this page because I trust you and value your input. Other than this opening paragraph everything else on this page and the pages linked to it are the programs I want to start. It is unorganized just in the I have an idea stage. When I sent you the link I most likely included which program I'm needing your help with but please feel free to look through any and all the different programs on here and give me any input you may have on any of it I'm fully open to ideas and suggestions for any and all of it the most important thing isn't that it be how I want it but that it be what helps people the most honestly I don't even care if I'm the one to make this or if someone else does it I just really want to see these programs happen. all names including the foundation name are changeable and all the logos are just AI generated starting points I want to have actual people create logos based on these or something completely different if it's better.

The Autism Family Foundation

Bringing the World Together, One Program at a Time

I don't like this tagline but it's all I could think of right now could use help with it.

What is it?

A parent company/ umbrella foundation to support multiple charitable/mutual aid programs.

What does it do?

The Autism Family Foundation or TAFF holds all the business and legal documentations to support a variety of programs running under its umbrella.

Why it's needed?

TAFF is needed so that it can maintain the business structure so old programs can continue to operate without interruption and new programs cam be tried without needing to set up a separate business. It will also absorb programs that end and their resources so they can be distributed to other programs or sold if unneeded to raise general funds available to other programs.

Our Mission

To create care and community by providing necessities, education, and more for all individuals no matter who they are or where they come from. So we can build a stronger more unified world based on love and understanding.

Who We Are

We are simply a group of average everyday people who see needs and division in our communities and have a desire to help.

What We Do

We provide assistance to individuals and families in many different forms through a variety of programs.

Including but not limited to programs that provide:

Basic needs: such as food, clothing, housing assistance, and more.

Skill development: such as social skills, communication skills, critical thinking skills, and more.

Language development: through speech therapy programs, as well as foreign language classes at no cost.

We also provide access to learning about and developing an understanding and appreciation of multiple cultures in order to bring the people of our world  together and build stronger more diverse communities so that all people can thrive together rather than just surviving individually.

How We Got Our Name

Our founder is a single mom of three now adult children all of whom, herself included, are on the spectrum. When her children were young to help them understand and accept their diagnosis rather than feeling ashamed, isolated, and different she called their family "The Autism Family". It became something that united them giving them a sense of pride and belonging. Since many of the programs she created came from needs her own family experienced and from information her family struggled to access. She choose to give the foundation their family name that empowered them and helped them through many hard times in the hopes it will do the same for others.
